Flying Witch (Episode 1)
Props to J.C. Staff for having something decent after a very long time (since Golden Time days, perhaps?) This time it’s not an ecchi about cooking but a SoL about a witch going to the country to be a normal high school student.
That said, it wouldn’t be effective as a show unless one has a strong liking or experience with slice of life plots. It’s so effective that when the witch was revealed you’re as shocked as the other characters for what the show is all about. I don’t mind the “healing atmosphere” though - it’s relaxing and somehow amplifies how silly its humor is.
Anyway, don’t you think the characters have the same style from those in Denkigai no Honya-san? Same design team, perhaps?
