The best example I have of the last post’s skin mock style is all the skins for Below The Sun! None of these were planned beyond the banner, and I had a lot of fun working out the rest of the style all as I coded it.

Everyone has a different approach to skin design! This is (a little shamefully) mine - a lot of my mock-ups are just a banner and some basic text styling. I use the mock-up process for my own projects to design a ‘look’, integrating the banner in to the font styles, and then just wing everything else as I code. These three never got completed skins, but my ‘completed’ mocks aren’t much different!

Another mockup from a past commission! The graphics were provided by the commissioner. I forgot to grab live screenshots of this one, but since purple has always been the hardest colour for me to work with, I’m quite proud with how it turned out!

Some old mock-ups for a commission from last year! Cleaning up some of my folders and came across these - maybe I’ll have a few more things to post soon too?

The last two skins I made for Libertas - ‘The Rebirth’ and ‘The Haze’ - are among my favourite that I’ve ever made. I’ve been thinking about cleaning up the code and putting them up for sale lately. Would there be any interest? 

They both have mini profiles, main profiles, forum and thread HTML templates. If you’re code-savvy, there’s a possibility for alternate OOC account/Character account main profile pages as well. They also come with thread templates, although Libertas had a very barebones application system, so the app template might not be useful for other sites.

Libertas will not be re-opening, and both of these skins were only up for a short time, so they’d be lovely and unique for a new site!

Just finished a commission for an upcoming historical site! This skin includes:

- Hidden sidebar content

- Static topbar with userlinks + search function on scroll

The new skin for Libertas went live last week! This skin includes:

- Large header and sticky sidebar

- Userlinks & Cbox in sidebar

- Full custom HTML templates, including different profiles for OOC and character accounts

A brief look at a recent commission for Skysails! This skin ($45) included design, a semi-static sidebar, otm hovers and overall nautical styling. It was very fun to do a themed skin like this and I hope to be able to do more in the future!
