The genshin twt acc announced that they are redesigning some of the characters(NOTE: THESE AREN’T THE FINAL DESIGNS). I heard its optional for all the servers except the cn server but more news will surface since this is still recent.
I am very much in love with Jean and Rosaria’s new designs! Jean’s og design always bothered me from a technical perspective because she wears sleeves but it isn’t apart of the shirt which is stupid imo, also I like the addition of black in her outfit! Rosaria’s og design makes sense but I still wasn’t big on it purely because of the body sock she wears on her chest. I like the addition of shorts too, my only complaint is that they’re is a bit too much black.
I genuinely can’t tell the difference between Amber’s new and og design. Lowkey i’ll miss Mona’s design even tho I use to hate it at some point. I think the color of her stockings actually makes the design better along with the addition of the stars and her new one lacks contrasting colors. I hope they’ll change it so that there are more darker colors even tho i don’t even have mona
Speculation: This is probably meant to match up with recent ccp restrictions regarding how characters look like. I think this will be the first wave of redesigns, and the next characters to get changed will probably be Fischl, Eula, Beidou, Ganyu, Raiden, Yoimiya, and maybe Venti? Who knows but I am 99% sure these aren’t the only designs getting changed.
