“Babe, you gotta a costume in mind? I’ve got one.” Jensen said across the kitchen where he was making breakfast. You looked up from your laptop screen and he met your gaze. You felt bubbly inside every time he does that. “Um, do you want us to match?” You asked back. “Well, yes, but if you’re up for it.” He replied. “Well we have a long list of couple’s costume ideas, I don’t mind whichever’s in your mind, babe.” You smiled. And his lip quirked to the side, telling you that whatever his idea is, will end up making you someone he really wants to see.
“Awesome, cuz Stef’s already in the process of our costumes.” He said and your eyes bulged out. She created such awesome costumes and they have shoots that lets you live a fantasy basically, the year before, you opted out from the opportunity when Jay was Red Hood but now—“Who are we gunna be?” You asked, biting your lip. He full on grinned and winked, that bastard, he wasn’t gunna let you on until you wear them. “How does she know my measurements?” You asked, to milk some information from him. “I had my ways, baby, you’re my wife.” He announced with a playful roll of his eyes.
A few weeks had passed, Halloween creeping ‘round the corner, and you knew it was almost time to wear the costume. You were jumpy all the while in the ride and Jensen would glance at you, chuckling to himself, he knew you’d be ecstatic when you finally see this year’s couple’s costume.
Jensen requested that you were to be blindfolded and all that effort so you don’t see the both of you until the very last minute, meaning, you could hear the hustle of traffic in the background and the cool air, either you were outside or on the roof of the building you two had gone in. “Jay?” You voiced out, not hearing him for a couple of minutes. You knew you had a mask of some sort but you were still as clueless as a leaf.
“‘M here, babe.” His husky voice rang in your ear as his hand held yours. “You look amazing, sweetheart.” He said and you smiled. “Wish I could see us both.” You murmured. “You ready then?” He asked and you nodded frantically and then the blindfold was removed. To say that you were shocked, your mouth hanging open would be an understatement. “Oh my fucking god.” Your eyes practically bulged out and he laughed, grasping his stomach. “I’m Batman.” He smirked
“Aren’t you the hottest Batman I’ve ever seen.” You said, biting your lip in shock. You looked down at your costume and felt the mask. “Holy shit! Am I Catwoman!??!” You exclaimed and he grinned, nodding. You looked towards the makeup artist and Stef who had a large mirror and you squealed, jumping up and down. “Oh my god! This is amazing, thank you thank you!” You smiled and hugged her. You went to Jensen and kissed him lightly, afraid of the red lip transferring to his lips. He hugged you to his chest. “You look super hot as Catwoman.” He said, embodying his low Batman voice. You giggled. “And you look hotter, Batman!” You winked at him. This was definitely the best Halloween!
