Owen McCoy works as head of security for Synergy, a research facility atop the mountain overlooking the town of Black Creek, Kentucky.  The company has bought up hundreds of acres of land and is conducting mysterious experiments.  When a powerful wave of energy rolls down the mountain and through the area, the whole area is suddenly transported into the past.  A couple of hours later, a second wave washes through the area, taking them further into the past.  What’s causing the temporal displacements, how far into the past will they be swept, and can the displacement waves be stopped?
