The snowfall was heavy. Dany squinted trying to see through the large, fat flurries that covered her car’s windshield. She didn’t notice that she had driven too close to the cliff’s edge before it was too late.
You should look behind you, Lord Snow. The moon has kissed you and etched your shadow upon the ice twenty feet tall.

Oh hello, yes I’m still around and very happy to say that Chapter 18 is up!
Summary: Jon and Dany’s wedding day is fast approaching, but between all the planning and preparation, there still needs to be time for a little fun. They decide on a joint bachelor/bachelorette party at Marquee – one of the hottest nightclubs in New York City. The celebration hits a snafu, however, when an unexpected guest arrives.
After one too many PR crises, Prince Jon Targaryen agreed to be the next lead of the popular dating show in a strategic, last-ditch effort to improve his sullied public image. Actually finding love and getting married wasn’t even a consideration for Jon…until Princess Daenerys, his former lover (and current aunt) stepped out of the limo to compete for his love. He couldn’t forget how she had broken his heart six years ago without a reason given, but neither could he deny the feelings he still had for her.
The princess didn’t have an easy fight ahead of her. Especially not with the bold and fiery Ygritte Wilde in the mix, another suitor who caught Prince Jon’s eye from Night One.
Torn between two women, Prince Jon faced the toughest decision of his life—but in the end it was Ygritte who was the last woman standing as she accepted his final rose.
Another happy ending for the happy couple…
…or so it seemed.

Have been meaning to do his for a long time and I’m glad I’ve finally got around to it. I wrote a good portion of the meta listed below but the rest was done by fellow members of a board I use to participate in.
We first embarked on a Daenerys Re-read Project and then we did a series of essays analyzing the parallels between Dany and other characters. The names of the writers are in the body of the essays. Some of the essays have the name moiaf, that’s my discussion board username.
A lot of this was written a couple of years ago and while I still believe in most of what I wrote my opinions have shifted. As you read other analysis (and discuss) your opinions begin to shift as you begin to see things in a different way.
