notes:ALRIGHTY KIDS I HAVE MADE A DECISION ABOUT SCHEDULINGGGGGG. It’s going to be weekly! Cuffing Szn ended up being a whole four parts so each thing will post once a week (this on Mondays, Cuffs on Thursdays) until they’re done, which should be about half way through June! At that point in time, I’ll take a little break to recharge and focus on some other projects :) it’s exciting!! We’re so close to the end!! I’m so excited to share this all with you. When you walk into the laundromat several hours later, you’re not even sure it’s all real. You know you need to talk to him while you’re both here. It’s the perfect time to do it; there are no prying eyes or ears.
You glance at the time on your phone. 2 AM on the dot. Shortly after you’ve set your bag and basket down, you look up to see Jungkook walking in. He’s similarly laden with his bag and his laundry, but something seems different. As he comes closer, you see what’s bothering you.
To your shock, he even leans over and gives you the softest, gentlest kiss on your cheek. He pulls away to start rummaging in his bag, looking for his laundry money.

You glance over at the bar cautiously but he’s staring right at you anyways. Jungkook. He’s friends with Jimin, and started working at this bar a few months ago. Despite being pretty close with Jimin, you’d only hung out with Jungkook a handful of times - though he hadn’t been shy at all in letting you know he had a crush on you.
I read this a few days ago and keep thinking about it. I love the movement between seasons and their interaction during Summer so hot and heartbreaking.

The realisation comes to you while you’re waiting in the car and fanning yourself with a make-shift paper fan because the AC broke two weeks ago and you haven’t had the money to get it fixed yet, waiting for Sooyoung who just walked into the convenience store to buy some snacks.
ahh this story is so damn cute!!!! I loved every second of it,, the humour is on point, the friendships are perfect yet realistic, and the romance between jungkook and yn develops so adorably I love how sooyoung blocks yn and in the end it’s a great choice since it kinda forced her to talk to jungkook, and the way that they gradually became closer was so fun to read ☺️ I especially liked how jungkook pretended to forget about that night, and also how he didn’t fever coax her to say more when she talks about it as her regret, as well as later that night when they’re in bed together,, and it’s even better when he’s eventually the one to admit it in such a sweet way, letting her know it’s his biggest regret ❤️❤️❤️ the ending with them dancing under the stars and the kiss was SO perfect, and I swear my heart combusted when I remembered that he also took her to the cafe for breakfast and then realised that jungkook did it so that they would’ve done all the cliche things she mentioned as a couple ✨thank you for writing this wonderful story!!

im really so flattered and honoured by your words!! it makes me incredibly happy to know that you enjoyed (road)tripping for you as much as you did and yes!! i thought that sooyoung blocking oc and jungkook and oc actively choosing to go meet him, something she would have never done at the beginning of the story, really showed her growth and demonstrated how close theyve gotten! and absolutely!! i think if jungkook had forced oc to say anything, she would have closed up and it would have gone the other way for sure !! also i can never help myself and just have to characterise jungkook as the nicest and softest and most understanding guy ever the scene with them dancing probably is one of my favourite scenes ive ever written! everything abt it is so stupidly romantic and soft and just kinda makes me want to scream into the void sgdsgf so im really glad that you enjoyed it too!! and ahhhh yes!! i think youre the first one to pick up on that little detail with the coffee shop dates! definitely something i put it on purpose !! makes me happy to know you picked up on that
