PSA Regarding Creepypasta & This Blog
Howdy cowfolks and love bugs, it’s time we had a small chat about something. I’ve been thinking about this for a year, so please know that no low effort thoughts went into it.
I have been writing creepypasta nonstop for a little over a year now. I’ve been in the fandom since I was like, 10, and only recently started writing content for other people on a “somewhat good quality” level. This blog was built off of creepypasta/Marble Hornets, and I cannot be more thankful for all the good the fandom has done for me. But I’m really, really tired of creepypasta dominating my requests when I ask so vocally for my other fandoms to be given attention.
I am no longer accepting requests for creepypasta.
I hate to disappoint those of you that came here specifically for it, but I can no longer fulfill those requests without a part of me shriveling up and slowly turning to hate writing. After I wrote creepypasta extensively in October, I was never really able to recover from it and still feel a lack of love for it now. This is not to say that creepypasta is banned on this blog, nor will I ENTIRELY stop writing for it, but rather that I am no longer accepting requests for it.
I want to be able to make good content for that fandom without feeling like I’m being held hostage for it, and that means not accepting requests for it. Marble Hornets is still on the table but I am asking you refrain from Masky and Hoodie, and please expand your requests to other characters such as Alex, Jay, Jessica, Seth, and Amy.
I have other fandoms here. Please give those some attention while creepypasta is kept on the top shelf. I’ve been pulling back on the creepypasta content for a while. Apologies for those of you who came here specifically for it, but this blog is no longer solely focused on it. Of course, conversation/just chatting is always allowed.
