#just stay in your lane
When people who claim to be “industry insiders” and say they’re “not part of the fandom”, have theaudacity to go around saying “80% chance” this and “sources said x” that, have absolutely zero idea just how much they’re leading on the younger/new members of this fandom, making them get their hopes up, and having no idea (or chosing not to see it) that their bullshit is going to result in so many members of this fandom being absolutely heartbroken when Supercorp doesn’t become canon, as a result of their actions and words heavily implying it. You claim to be an “insider”; do better by the fandom you say you’re not a part of and stop using them for clout.
And for those of you that see that hope in their words, that’s wonderful, however, be sure to be realistic about your hopes and don’t let that outsider turn you against your own fandom… the same fandom that has been there for you longer than they have.
