i know her voice did not stay exactly the same but you simply can NOT tell me the opening to avatar the last airbender isn’t katara telling their story to tenzin, bumi, and kya.
i mean just imagine it bro like it’s story time, and kataras like “alright kids what do you wanna hear about tonight?” because i’m assuming kataang telling their badass stories before bedtime is a common occurance, and some how they land on the idea of telling the tale of how it all came to be. Katara looks at aang and says “you wanna start this?” and aang says “nah, you were always better at telling this story anyways. i’ll just sit back and listen.” and so katara looks excitedly at her children and says “okay father round and get comfy kids, this is a long one. Water, Earth, Fire, Air. Long ago, the four nations lived in harmony. But everything changed when the fire nation attacked!”
