i’m currently sitting at jfk alone. i’m heading home to hong kong to be with my family. i have no clue when i will return to the us, no clue when i will be able to move back to nyc, no idea when i will be able to cosplay again. all of my cosplays are currently sitting in a storage facility in manhattan. the future, honestly, is pretty unknown to me.
as i sit in this airport, katara’s words came to mind. it hurts to care and it hurts to hope at this moment — but we can’t stop hoping and caring. it’s what keeps us alive. we will get through this. this will end. but for now, we have to be smart … and for now, i have to be home with my family and put all my cosplans on hold. hopefully, it won’t be for forever.
i hope that all of you are safe. if you need someone to talk to, i’m always here for any of you guys — though i will be 12 hours ahead for the time being! sending all of you virtual hugs. : @ellechenphoto

Felt good to cosplay again with all the writing I’ve been doing. (Make sure to grab issue #2 and preorder issue #3 of Bettie Page: The Alien Agenda at your local comic book shop.)

Working on putting together more cosplay looks this year. Honestly the wig on this was fun to do and made me miss making cosplays. Just gotta find ways to split my time more evenly.

Phew, having two hobbies turned careers at one time is busy but so satisfying.
