retrosofa:So it turns out that mysterious looking Tuxedo Mask that appears in the first Sailor Moo

retrosofa:

So it turns out that mysterious looking Tuxedo Mask that appears in the first Sailor Moon R intro was actually a prototype of The Moonlight Night! The original design appears in Kazuko Tadano’s doujinshi Final Sailor. You can view the entire doujinshi at Three-Lights.

Kazuko Tadano was actually of my favorite animators from the series, so it’s interesting to see her unused concepts and production art.
