#keith shiro
Spoilers: So over the last several seasons (wow, we’re already on the 6th season, that’s crazy) I started to notice that there was a sudden change in how Keith treated Shiro after the first couple seasons. Then this season it hit me. Keith and Shiro have always been close. The reason Keith was so surprised to find Shiro in episode one was because Shiro was the one person on the planet that he really trusted, and that person has previously vanished from his life, thought dead. We also know that Keith quit the pilot program, but we never questioned why. Perhaps the reason was because Keith was grieving Shiro’s loss or maybe Keith just slowly lost the motivation to continue without Shiro there.
We glazed over that because Lance comically also wanted to bathe in the glory of saving someone everyone recognized as a hero, but the bottom line is, Keith had a deep friendship with Shiro prior to the series even starting. Then a couple seasons in Keith went through the Blades trial with Shiro was watching, and there was a hint that came up that we the audience didn’t totally understand. Even after Keith pledging to get Shiro back to safety in a harrowing moment at the beginning of the season, there was a moment when their bond expanded. When Keith was going through the deepest torture of the trials, the person he most wanted to see was Shiro–the person he trusted, the only person at that point that he loved. And as the series progressed, that relationship expanded even more. Either as relationship between brothers or a love deeper, we the audience will never really know, but the fact remains, we got to witness something truly beautiful.
Sheith Month 2020 // JUNE
The 4th Annual Sheith Month is upon us!
On June 1st we will began a month long celebration of our two favorite boys (Shiro and Keith) and their undying love for each other. As always, this event holds the goal of creating/sharing content for sheith and gives you free reign over your artistic contributions, whether it be art, writing, edits, memes, music, or anything else you can think of!
BASIC RULES:
You can participate in all the days or just a few (or even just one). There are no minimum requirements or limits to what you want to create, it’s all up to you. However, there are a few rules to help keep the event safe and fun for everyone involved.☆ NS\FW is absolutely allowed, but it must be tagged with a #ns\fw tag.
☆ NO “broganes” allowed.
☆ NO OT3s, unless it’s additional versions of Keith and Shiro (e.g. Kuro).
☆ Tag your content as #SheithMonth2020 (within the first five tags) and/or tag @sheithmonth somewhere on the post.
☆Anonymous Participation options can be found on Rules/Infopage..
☆If you have ideas that don’t fit the prompts, you can tag them as Free Days
☆This is supposed to be fun, so don’t stress if you can’t get a submission in on time. It will still be accepted.**More rules may be added if the need arises.

Howdy! As you can see by the title, Sheith Positivity Week for 2019 is up and running!!!
The major theme has been pre-decided (crowd sourced!) and it will be “Just Sheith Things~” or otherwise, well, Sheith things!
The date for the week is currently in decision mode. I’m trying to find the BEST week for everyone involved, so I think a poll on ‘months’ would be the best option- and then to narrow it down from there. After all I do want fan participation lol.
What is Sheith Positivity Week?
Well, if you’re new here or just need a reminder:
Sheith Positivity Week of SPW, is an entire week dedicated to all things Positive Sheith! The week is themed (as seen above) and for a full week fans can participate and share their fresh new works with the community.
This year, the week is very open to interpretation. The prompt should be as non-specific as I could get them while still staying within the Sheith theme (that being Keith & Shiro as both individuals and as a couple).
While the week is for Positive Sheith works, should you find the prompts inspiring you elsewhere then you’re free to write/draw/animate/gif/edit to your hearts content. I only ask that things are tagged accordingly. (This also includes N SFW works)
Rules
- All entries should focus on the romantic relationship between Shiro and Keith.
- No OT3 that includes Shiro/Keith will be allowed for this week (sorry OT3 fans!)
- Entries should focus on positive energy. Please don’t make it too angsty and/or triggering. The prompts ARE open for interpretation, but this is a positivity week!
- NSFW entries are okay. Just make sure to tag appropriately and/or put under [read more].
- Tag your entries as #sheithpositivityweek and#sheiththingsweek2019 within the first 5 tags of your entry.
