→ { ‘ making sure the angle, and lighting, was right he pressed the little red button and shuffled back slightly, regretting putting the camera so high up as he tilted his head back somewhat to peer into the lens } hi, i’m kim hansol, i’m nineteen and currently studying at k-arts university, and working part-time as a bartender. i’ve always wanted to be a performer - a dancer mainly. dance is almost like my oxygen, i guess. mainly i sing and dance, but i’m trying to learn how to create the music too, not just perform it { ‘ he widens his smile for a second, shifting his weight from one foot to the other and fiddling with his fingers behind his back } music in general is my entire life, and i want it to stay that way forever, and show everyone just how hard i’ll work for it. without music i wouldn’t be kim hansol.
Wʜʏ ᴀᴍ ɪ ʜᴇʀᴇ?
{ ‘ he didn’t have to think for long, it was a simple question with a simple answer } i want to inspire, just as i was inspired. music is something i’ve always seeked comfort in, something that’s helped me through things i’d have otherwise been ruined by. { ‘ pausing for a second he gives a slow nod } i want to be able to do that for other people - be their safe haven in melodies and dancing. i want to inspire other people to find what makes them feel at home - i feel at home when dancing, and i want to make sure other people find their safe place, just as i found mine.
