I saw people saying that they don’t understand why Porsche did what he did (bugged Tawan’s room, followed Kinn and Tawan etc). I mean what’s so difficult to understand? He doesn’t trust Tawan, and maybe to an extent, Kinn too because he knows who he really is beneath that strong mafia leader facade he’s got going. Kinn’s soft-hearted, not dumb, but yes soft-hearted. And Tawan’s proven to be good at manipulating him based on their past. So yes, what Porsche did was very much understandable, maybe not logical given that they could’ve just talked it out (after having amazing sex iykwim: communication is key) but we also know they’re both not that good at that. They’re trying, but past traumas and hurt sometimes get the best of them, as with all of us.
A part of me really wants to believe that they have a plan, Kinn and Porsche. That this will not cause a huge misunderstanding, but a part of me also feels that we’re in for a long and rough ride. Good thing we still have that pool scene as proof that everything will eventually be okay.
Really excited about VegasPete too. I wanna see Vegas being head over heels in love with Pete, please
Here’s the thing - if I were in Kinn’s shoes I would probably do what he did. Try and extract info from tawan, lock up Porsche, have someone spy on Vegas, etc. etc. What I wouldn’t do is keep sitting there while tawan shoves his face in my crotch.

Kinnporsche ep 6 is really THAT episode like?? Kinn willingly being handcuffed to Porsche for an extra few days just because he wanted to spend time with him? Both of them letting their walls down, genuinely getting to know each other outside of their assigned roles and learning to actually like each other and become friends?? Kinn excitedly catching fish and Porsche thinking he’s cute??? Both of them sharing their dreams? Porsche being willing to cut off his own hand to help them escape?? Both of them teasing each other about the singing and the lighter and the fishing etc? Snuggling up to each other as the sun rises?? Just the two of them literally fighting for their lives trying to survive in the wilderness yet giggling and making fun of each other and having deep convos and bonding and kissing like every few minutes??? THAT LAST FUCKING BIT?? Kinn giving Porsche an out, his want for Porsche to be happy outweighing his want for him to be by his side??? Porsche coming back despite the out he was given? Kinn taking a bullet for Porsche?? NOTHING WILL EVER TOP THIS—
anyone else feeling sort of mixed-feelings about kinnporsche?

i really thought porsche would be more capable. i get that the storyline is going for this fish out of water thing and he’s primed to end up being the only one who is there for kinn, but the initial episode set him up as some sort of badass and then the writers decided to give him sort of mary-sue ‘i’m such a clutz’ tendencies that they seem to continue milking in the next episodes. the reason why this bothers me was because i was sort of looking forward to a more ‘we’re equals as rivals’ sort of dynamic - not Porsche gets kidnapped and beaten up and Kinn has to swoop in and save him kinda thing.
i’m actually kinda…disappointed? ??? ? at how quickly they did the sex? i know i’m probably in the minority, and i know the series isn’t drained of all the tension now, but it just seemed like such an odd place to put it and…well, i won’t talk about the optics of it, y’all already know
i’m not a huge SCREAMER about how media shouldn’t show problematic stuff but date rape drugs? reaaalllly?
vegas is a creep - i’m all for you being allowed to dead-dove-don’t-enter but ICK. he’s not even a fun kinda creep (please don’t throw stones at me, i’m not the type to tell you how to enjoy media or what you ship, this is just a personal feeling)
so far the ‘storyline’ has been kinda…slow? they’re four episodes in and i’m still not super sure where they’re going. i don’t know if this is REALLY a pacing issue or if the series is struggling with the same stuff thai bl’s seem to struggle with in general….pacing and where to put plot.
The night whipped around them. Porsche lost track of where they were, waiting for Kinn’s voice to rise above the din and tell him which way to turn. Right, left, right. Porsche thought they drove for a long way, down crowded streets full of life and light. Up until less crowded highways, the tall lights slipped past them, reminding Porsche of tall guardians.
Porsche could have gone on that way forever. With Kinn holding onto his waist and the smell of the road and world around them. They could have ridden off into nowhere and disappeared forever.
Eventually, though, Kinn told him to stop. Porsche obeyed. He considered waiting until Kinn got off of the bike and then taking off without him, but Kinn anticipated him. He reached around him and pulled the key out of the ignition.
