Here’s, as promised, a little breakdown of the two shots I animated on Kobold Blues for the Dota 2 Short Film Contest!

Both shots were animated within a week (around 2 days for the first shot and 3 for the second) before I left for holidays.

I’d like to thank all the team members again for inviting me on the project, especially Lisa (who did an AMAZING work on the animations of 80% of the short!)

For the first time ever… I helped in a DotA2 short for The International short film contest! The Best part being… I didnt even have to install Dota2 and open it at all (as most of you know how i feel about installing such a big game just for the s2fm software it contains…). I animated my shots directly within my beloved Maya and exported them to Maxxy who implemented them in-engine.

Anyway ! Thanks a lot to Lisa for kindly inviting me to this adorable project, filled with golden team members !
I’ll make a tiny breakdown of my shots in several days to show you my processs.

Now if you guys want to help us, if you own Dota, it is still time to vote in the game client ! :) thank you all ! ;)
