“I’m sorry, I can’t…..”
Months. It had taken months to finally get enough courage to confess to your long-time crush Konro and even then it was just drunken courage. And it was all shot down with 4 measly words by an over polite, handsome man. It hurt but it was really your own fault for daydreaming about being together and falling love before you had even told him. Tears spilled over your waterline, racing down your face as you did your best to harshly wipe them off your face.
“Hey, hey, stop that, you’re gonna scratch your face up.” He says, concern lacing his voice. He grabs your hands softly and reaches behind you to grab some tissues, dabbing the tears that just kept coming. However his concern and gentle touches only made you sob harder, reminding you of how you couldn’t have him. You see the panic in his face from the nonstop tears and realize that he’s probably never dealt with something like this before, how embarrassing that he’s stuck with someone that he’s not even interested in, trying to get them to stop crying. You decided it better to just leave then continue you on but as you get up to leave, he pulls you into his lap.
