Baran-de, first son of @isei-bleeds Masurao and Jagged-Tooth.

He’s precocious.

And, far into the future and some children later, but Jagged-Tooth and Masurao do have other biotic children. One of their strongest being Amu, middle child of their brood, and most gifted.

Amu grows up with stories and myths of Koroth’Ul legends, legends of great Dakthlok warriors, and as he grows older he believes himself just as deserved - if not more so - of greatness. But what is a leader without an army?

Storming through the Koroth’Ul, he easily overpowers the clan, kills Kindut’ru, and tells them exactly what he is here for:

None more deserving to destroy the Biotic Temple and reap the glory of its falling - once and for all.

Pretty much, yeah! Kinda like a capybara + pony + boar

My line of thought was: “Why are ‘alien’ creatures always designed so extra? + I like the juxtaposition of something that looks inoffensive being actually dangerous.”

I mean, all that an ‘alien’ animal needs to be is just… not from Earth, right? So, there, just as in a lot of places in our world where bigger and meaner is not always better, so does Prime probably have animals that are small and look pretty bland, but don’t underestimate them because they’ve managed to survive in Prime for a reason.

Nethgans are suited for their environment, and are decent enough at warding off predators in their ecosystem. That’s all they really need to be a successful specie. They are compact, energy efficient omnivores, with a big kick, and will put up a decent fight before going down.

The Koroth’Ul march to the Datlokh valley to ‘return’ what Kalt’nde lost in their territory. And how they manage to track them down. Of the Koroth’Ul, it is Ghunauk that challenges the Datlokh commander.

The Koroth'Ul vs the Datlokh - Commander Kalt'nde

When the Koroth'Ul attack the Datlokh border, Kal is at the forefront of the Dakh army opposition. He seeks to regain honor in this battle, as he was the one who had, through a terrible slip up, led them to their territory. He will make penance, either by protecting his homeland in triumph, or by dying in service to it.

Luckily he’s a fucking tank and will break your neck like a twig if you get too close to him, as an unlucky Koroth'Ul warrior was quick to find out.
