#kovacs altered carbon

-you might not be an overly badass type, or maybe you are, but regardless, Tak sees and appreciates your badass-ery

-he’s not really a talker so you learn to read his body language

-and then the two of you just mirror each other with this unspoken language

-and people are super weirded out by you two

-you make him smile :)

-standing next to each other shoulder to less tall shoulder

-meeting Poe who calls you ‘Tak’s lady friend’

-it would start with staying at his place because you both fall asleep working on the case

-and then he suggests you stop sleeping on the floor when he has a giant bed

-and after that… well it just escalates, this is Kovacs we’re talking about.

-Poe asks about you a lot and once you start staying over he grins every time he sees you

-Tak telling you about his life as pillow talk

-meeting his sister who hates you because she hates everyone Tak loves more than her, that’s just a given

-patching Kovacs up whenever he gets himself hurt

-coming across the pink unicorn bag

-”what is this?” “its my bag.” “yeah, but… Kovacs, please, what the fuck.”

-he likes to do that grumbly thing when he doesn’t feel like talking

-or just grabbing you and throwing you on the bed, that works too

-he’s not a great communicator which you’d have to get used to

-but he can show a lot just based on his physicality

-its like your own Takashi sign language

-but when he tells you he loves you, it means even more

“you really like that woman.” Poe stated.

“who?”

“Y/N, you speak quite highly of her.”

“she’s a good cop, hard to find those nowadays.” 

Poe quirked an eyebrow which Kovacs chose to ignore. if Poe could see Kovacs affection for you…. well, Kovacs was going to have to keep a tighter hold on his emotions.
