I’m always happy when we get a new picture of my favorite couple.I cannot believe art is still being produced for this series. Is it still going?
The series has a strong base with the original light novel (even under hiatus), and they now announced the release of the new manga called “Kyou Kara Maou! S”

Online story - Gwendal x Jozak 2007
I can’t express how much I laughed with this short story. I love every part of it, it has everything I love from these characters hahaha. Poor Gwendal, but everything was too funny. Also, Gwenssina is strong as stone in this one xD I love Jozak too much, he made my day making me lol so hard.

So it’s a 1 page manga. Yuuri is explaining the chocolates and that under the white chocolate one, there’s a strawberry, that the black one has alcohol in it. Conrad says that he really likes black (chocolate?) even more so if it has brandy in it.
Wolf is saying something that the king should be eating black and eating it is disrespectful, so that he’s choosing the white one.
An explanation that black is a noble color for the mazoku .
For Gunter it says he’s forbidden from eating chocolate, because he’s juicy (I guess it causes nosebleeds?idk)
I love that they’re continuing the theme of Wolf liking strawberries. Is this canon yet? XDDD (last time we heard of it was in the Present for You drama cd)

The new manga has been announced under the name Kyou kara maou S 『今日からマ王！ S』, starting this Summer 2021! (sources twitter,website)
This is amazing news!
The most important things are this is going to be a 12 month serialization at least and it’s already confirmed that Takabayashi-sensei is going to be the writer, which means it’s novel canon!
The official description of the project is “A hilarious fantastic comedy about love and justice”. The hype can’t be described in words, news are floating the web in anime sites already and if things go well we may have new material in other media as well. Let’s make sure we support this series in any way we can!

Additional information:
The anime team worked closely with Takabayashi sensei and GEG at the beginning, this is why the earlier drama cds that came out with the anime dvd boxes were so closely connected to the novels. Once the anime team started writing their own canon, the connection to the novels was lost. THE STRANGE THING is that the screenplay for most drama cds from the very beginning were assigned to a Takahashi Makio(高橋槇生); which can’t be found to have done any other work anywhere, which means it is most likely a made up pen name to hide the real authors. The author appears throughout most of the drama cds including novel canon and anime canon (excluding game related cds). Speculation dictates that this is either GEG-san herself, or a combination of Takabayashi sensei and GEG-san. Meaning that even the drama cds that are anime related may have been written by them. It is however, impossible to confirm. The confirmed involvements were clarified in short interviews by Takabayashi sensei and/or GEG-san.
