「Okawari」 is a multi-fandom collection of fanworks made by different users to celebrate their favourite BL visual novel titles.
The fanworks in this collab are all centred around the theme of food. Entries chose to depict food being enjoyed by their favorite characters, food from the game itself, or even some more questionable consumptions from BL visual novels.
The final product of this collab. has been presented in the form of an online anthology, featuring over a dozen different characters from a range of different BLVNs.
Thank you to everyone who took part! Without your participation, this collab. would not happened! Our team experienced several technical difficulties and a very busy schedule, we appreciate your patience!
We hope you all enjoy looking through everyone’s fanworks!
There’s still about 4️⃣ weeks until the sign-up deadline! You still have lots of time to sign-up for 「UTAE!」 if you haven’t already yet, but keep in mind that we also begin WIP check-ins at the sign-up deadline, so don’t wait until the last minute!
As a reminder, the sign-up deadline is August 17th.
Another year, another word-for-word reuse of the same post with the exact same header image. Even that sentence is copied from last year. It’s time once again for a Lamento-themed holiday gift exchange!
For those unaware, it works by everyone sending in prompts for what they want, which will be filled out by an anonymous (until the time of posting) “Secret Santa”.
How to take part:
Fill out the details listed here and send them in via this blog’s submit box to apply. Once you’ve received your prompt, you fill it out in whatever way you want (not limited to just art and fanfic, but anything you think would be appreciated as a gift) for it to be given to your recipient on Christmas Day.
Important dates:
Applications close on November 11th, 24:00 AEST.
Prompts will be given out within a couple of days of that (can’t say for sure how long it will take at this point, but hopefully all by the 12th).
Finished gifts are due in by December 21st, 24:00 AEST. If you know you aren’t going to be able to meet this deadline, then please let me know sooner rather than later.
Gifts will be posted here starting on December 25th.
Readthe guidelines page and follow this blog for more information. If you have any further questions, then the ask box will always be open. Everything related to the event will be using the tag #lamentosecretsanta.
In the meantime, if you haven’t already, please go through and take a look at all the wonderful gifts that were made over the past three years. Or just look again if you’ve already seen them. It’s probably been a while, and they’re definitely worth it!
Year 5 and I’m still using the same post word-for-word with the exact same header image. The rules page has changed a lot to make up for it though. It’s time once again for a Lamento-themed holiday gift exchange!
