“W&OD Trail: Highway of Community” • about 3500 sq ft • painted Nov. 2018 in 14 days • Vienna, Virginia

Emily Herr and I collaborated to paint this larrrrge piece on the Vienna Shopping Center, about a mile from the house where I grew up. The design was all me; Emily provided invaluable support in muraling logistics, planning, and all the lettering (as well as a whole lot of painting!). Many thanks to our assistants Madeleine D., Morgan S., and Noah T, and the local volunteers who came out to pitch in. This was so much fun! And I barely have to edit the photos because the colors really are that vibrant.
