For Christopher, it’s Renfield–who doesn’t love to hear that story about him chasing after him in a hotel?

And for Vincent, it’s Joe.  The fact that the man wrote an entire book about him is all you need to know.

So, for this entry, I’m going with favorite video clip of Christopher and Vincent as themselves (that is, not in character)–

For Christopher, it’s this clip of him demonstrating the proper way to sword fight.  No elaboration is needed.

For Vincent, it’s his appearance as the Mystery Guest in What’s My Line.  The whole thing is hilarious, but special mention goes to the moment when Vincent cannot figure out how to answer the question as to whether he is supposed to be a dramatic or comedic actor.

Christopher and Vincent were both intriguing storytellers, and so, I struggled to choose just one anecdote each from the books they’ve written.

For Christopher, it has to be this anecdote of him golfing/birdwatching/trespassing with Peter Cushing (from Christopher Lee: Tall, Dark and Gruesome)–

And for Vincent, I chose his anecdote of him and his second wife, Mary, being pursued for cactus crimes (from I Like What I Know)–

LeeWeek Day 7 and Christopher Lee’s 100th! I..uh..didn’t exactly finish this in time. I’ve been having a drawn out argument with the background and I don’t think anyone is winning. Fingers crossed that it turns out well!

I have one more creation for LeeWeek that I’ll be posting later today

Lee Week 2022 Day 7: Happy birthday!

A drawing I did of Vincent Price, Christopher Lee, and Peter Cushing. I wanted to try a different style this time. Pretty pleased with how it turned out. Also, that’s frosting on the knife, not blood…supposedly
