Το @rouje είναι ένα από τα πάρα πολύ αγαπημένα μου brands από άποψη αισθητικής. Όταν είδα λοιπόν ότι άρχισε να βγάζει και καλλυντικά, πριν από περίπου ένα χρόνο, παρόλο που ερωτεύτηκα τη συσκευασία τους, θεώρησα ότι δεν είναι και τόσο καλή ιδέα να δοκιμάσω καλλυντικά από ένα brand ρούχων, όσο ποιοτικά ρούχα και αν διέθετε.

Λίγο αργότερα, διαβάζοντας reviews, βλέποντας tutorials, και χαζεύοντας στο Instagram, άρχισα να βλέπω ότι τελικά μάλλον αξίζουν μια δοκιμή. Πρώτα αγόρασα μια παλέτα με ματ κραγιόν. Μετά μια παλέτα με κρεμώδη κραγιόν, και ένα κλασσικό κραγιόν, παρόλο που είχα διαβάσει ότι σπάνε εύκολα (όπως και της Lisa Eldridge). Το κραγιόν έσπασε όντως οπότε σίγουρα δε θα σας πρότεινα να αγοράσετε κάποιο μέχρι να βελτιωθεί η φόρμουλα (υπήρξε άμεση αποζημίωση από πλευράς του brand ωστόσο), αλλά οι παλέτες είναι πραγματικά ένα ό-νει-ρο!

Αναλυτικότερα:

Οι παλέτες αυτές προορίζονται για χρήση στα χείλη, τα μάγουλα και τα μάτια. Δουλεύουν παντού εξαιρετικά.

Μπορείτε να αναμίξετε τα χρώματα και να φτιάξετε νέες αποχρώσεις. Δουλεύονται υπέροχα, ακόμα και τα ματ.

Η ματ παλέτα “Chaleur” έχει υφή που θυμίζει βελούδο (σαν τα κραγιόν της Lisa Eldridge). Τα κραγιόν είναι ξηρά, αλλά όχι ενοχλητικά ξηρά. Προσωπικά όμως μιας και προτιμώ τις πιο ενυδατικές συστάσεις, τη χρησιμοποιώ κυρίως στα μάτια και τα μάγουλα.

Η κρεμώδης παλέτα “Signature” είναι λίγο περισσότερο αγαπημένη μου. Ιδανική για κάθε περίσταση και εποχή.

Οι δύο παλέτες αναμιγνύονται άψογα, δίνοντας ακόμα περισσότερες επιλογές χρωμάτων.

Παρόλο που έχουν έντονη απόδοση χρωμάτων, “συγχωρούν” τυχόν λάθη. Μπορείτε να διορθώσετε το περίγραμμα των χειλιών σας χωρίς κόπο. Επίσης και οι δύο παλέτες δουλεύουν καλά τόσο με τα χέρια, όσο και με πινέλα μακιγιάζ.

Η ματ παλέτα έχει διάρκεια ζωής 2 χρόνια, ενώ η κρεμώδης, 1. Και οι 2 παλέτες κατασκευάζονται στην Ιταλία.

I remember when I couldn’t afford to get a copy of this book, I was still a student in Paris hustling to finish up school. I wanted this book so badly, and to see it on my desk every day is a shining beacon of hope for me. It is the small things that matter such as simply being able to read this book on the train, home or anywhere else. The world of Jeanne Damas and her peers has had a tremendous effect on me. It has been a significant part of what  helped me find purpose and built my perspective on the world in a way I could have never imagined. I can only think to share this joys of this with the world in the hopes that it may do for someone else what it has done for me.

Just Go For Rouje Already!!

Is consistency not key? Are standards not crucial? Is quality not reliable? From the beginning, Rouje Paris has been finding it extremely difficult to disappoint. All reviews and reflections on their previous collections have proven this brand to be top tier, filled with loads of inspiration and a high level of delivery from the quality of the clothing to the ideas behind each collection. The Rouje catalog is time after time endowed with praiseworthy collections that leave Les Filles En Rouje enchanted by the realisation of beauty of everyday life and the glory of womanhood. Expressed in its cosmos and in the pieces themselves, there is a feeling, a certain quality that is just VERY ROUJE. One cannot quite logically explain the honor and feeling of being very Rouje or simply the atmosphere of a life in Rouje. Rouje has become very distinguished and set itself on a high plane of self-expression, synonymous with self-love. It is impossible to misidentify.
