Snippet from Maxipes Fik by Rudolf Čechura (Czech Republic, 1931-2014) and Jiří Šalamoun (illus.) (Czech, 1935-2022) .  First published by Albatros in Prague in 1981, and republished in various European translations including a Dutch language version currently available from  @boycott_books as De avonturen van mega hond Max. Based on the late 1970s Czechoslovak animated series about the stories of an overgrown talking intelligent dog Fík and a little girl Aja, who lived together in Ahníkov near Kadaň.
