After the death of her father and a difficult break up Monica (Raven Goodwin), is ready to move forward in life as she tries to land the new hosting job. When she hires a new assistant, Simone (Amber Riley), the two quickly become friends. But underneath Simone’s sweet exterior, she harbors a dark secret and completely immerses herself in Monica’s life.
