Lettermark and custom type for Tamago Ramen Bar, a branding project from some time ago. Tamago is “egg” in Japanese, thus the integration of the upside down egg, a stylistic choice that coincided with the brand philosophy of turning things on their head and striving to constantly surprise and innovate. Sometimes stuff just fall into place, not everything is this design-blog-ready 110% pre-planned rationale. This is a bit of a #FlashBackFriday and part of a design recap I will do starting this week, mostly things you guys haven’t seen before, but also WIPs and behind the scenes of certain projects, and posting it here in a neat fashion.
