During the ceremony at the end of the movie, Khadgar hands Lothar Llane’s sword. There’s a moment of hesitation on Lothar’s part until Khadgar nods at him, as if to say “you can do this and I’ll be here for you.”
Then he takes Lothar’s place by the young king and his sister, as if they’re a family.
In which Khad fantasies about that desk scene.
