There’s really not a moment where you aren’t thankful that it is Friday. You could be having the shittiest day of your life but when you suddenly remember it is Friday therefore the weekend is here you are like, wait, I am feeling a moment of gratitude. That’s kind of what you are experiencing right now actually. Today sucked—work wise—and you’re so happy it is ending.
You’re finally wrapping things up on your computer before you’re finally turning it off and cleaning up around you so you can head home and get ready for your date with Namjoon tonight.
“So,” You hear Hoseok’s voice from beside you, “Tonight’s the night, huh?”
“But…” He starts chewing on his lip, “What are we going to do if the two leads don’t get together at the end? We’ve been rooting for them for so long.”
“I swear…if they don’t get together then I give up. Love isn’t real.” You throw your hands up, leaning back on your couch.
This is literally all of us rooting for Jimin and Y/n, and our sadness if they don’t get together lol.
Okay, but getting back to the beginning, Y/n and Joonie, huh?? Nice to know that she was able to meet someone who could get her off lol. But also just like how understanding and kind and amazing is this man??? The first time is just for her, he doesn’t even let her help him ‘cause he wanted to focus on her, and then the latest time they hung out, when she left to go see Jimin, he didn’t even complain. Though he must hate being put off again and again for Jimin. At least I think he must, ‘cause I would be if I was in his position. But then again, he is a better person than me, so maybe not. Either way, I just love how incredibly sweet this man is. Incredible!
Also, the fact that Emiko and Namjoon are childhood friends is so incredibly cute. I’m honestly rooting for them. They both seem so wholesome and kind and I think they’d be nice together! Besides, I’m sure Namjoon’s mom is probably hoping for them to end up together too, considering how she spends time with Emiko without Namjoon. Must be very close.
Okay, so the whole moment with Jimin—my heart was aching. The bond they have is like no other. The fact that Jimin could see that she needed to let her resentment/hurt go and allowed her to do so, he really knows her the best. The way that they both just know each other, help each other, and just keep each other so close to their heart. They’re so cute. In particular when Jimin said that she was precious to him. And then at the club and at the end, where drunk Jimin was just clinging to Y/n and those moments were just so amazing. Loved it.
Also the whole boys day was so adorable!! I was laughing so hard when you cut between Y/n and Naomi thinking about what testosterone filled activity they were doing, only to cut to the boys expressing their drunken emotions to one another. The way that they were supporting one another and just being the sweetest little things was to die for lol. That part was probably my favourite in this chapter. Just too cute. I wanted to just give them all blankets and a warm drink while they lamented about their dating lives. I love them so much!
I loved this chapter, just so much happened. Like Y/n and Naomi still trying to find out more about Lucy through Jin just shows how good of people they are. They still care about her despite how she had acted previously. I’m honestly so jealous of this friend group This was truly incredible and I loved every second of it. I swear every chapter is better than the last!!! Sending you love!!!

ah! the scene with jimin is seriously one of the more important in this series and to see it so well received by many of you makes me so happy. he knew she needed it even when she wasn’t sure that she did. it was a very good moment for the both of them! they’re very cute indeed.
boys day/night is one of my favorite things that happened in this story i had so much fun writing it and imagining the whole thing. so wholesome and chaotic and adorable. i’m glad you enjoyed it!!!
