Scooby Doo Mystery Inc was great because Velma was a lesbian, Fred was a himbo, there was an Evil David Bowie DnD villain, Scooby was an alien, Shaggy dodged the draft with help from his dog, Fred and Daphne got engaged in high school, Velma’s girlfriend got shot by Nazi robots (don’t worry she got better), there was a terminator dominatrix, and there was an actual literal Lovecraftian old god/alien/entity trying to destroy the world. And said old god looked like squid ink spaghetti.
