people really undermine dreamnap’s dynamic by putting sapnap into roles that he doesnt actually play irl (wise guy/wingman) rather than what he really is to dream, the ultimate LOYALIST, his BEST FRIEND, a bond that does not have to be ‘elaborate’ or super emotionally demanding to still be deep and valid. dreamnap are defined by their history and dedication to each other, their shared hobbies (games and sports), their dumb little spats. they watch football together and cuddle up under the blanket. it is bliss. it is comfortable. it is thinking you know a guy like the back of your hand, and sometimes being taken aback by the person he’s grown into, because you’re stuck on an image of him that you knew years ago. dreamnap is jumping off a bridge because the other person did, it’s being very outwardly defensive and protective of the other, it’s geeking out together, it’s respecting the other person’s space, it’s one of the best and easiest kinds of love
