Btw the reverse of that is what I hope to see next season which is Tim meeting Lucy’s parents and being like ‘start supporting your amazing daughter instead of making her feel like shit all the time’. But ya know, in a politer way, cause they’re still gonna be his in-laws and Tim is a good boy.

Lucy shoulda got to punch Tim’s abusive dad. I don’t care if that shit is already dying, he had it coming.

The fact you’d expect it to be the other way round made it all the more hilarious(and it truly would have been the other way round a couple of seasons ago). Tim just got more and more comfortable expressing himself around Lucy as the season went on, so by the time it got to this I was like yeah that checks out.

I haven’t done a proper rewatch in a while so I could be forgetting something, but did Tim ever refer to himself as good looking to Lucy before s4? Twice this season he made similar sort of comments 1. ‘Did you hear her say hottest’ and then ‘A very handsome boy’. Whatcha fishing for Tim? A confirmation that Lucy agrees maybe I just think this season the way they flirt changed. There was still the whole competitive ‘do I wanna kiss you or kill you thing’ but there was a few more risky moments that signalled them not being TO and Rookie any longer.

Seriously though, the look on Tim’s face during that car park scene was amazing. I mean he’s still with Ashley at this point so it makes you wonder what he was gonna say to Lucy before he stopped himself. I knew it was never gonna happen obviously, but for one chaotic moment it felt like he was gonna confess how mind-blowing it was and if Lucy felt the same he was gonna go break up with Ashley. I’m happy that didn’t happen because hopefully we get pinning and drama now but it just amazes me how close to chaos Tim was. And Lucy was right there willing him to say it.

I wish we could see Lucy run into Tim while he has Kojo or have to go round his house for a work reason and Kojo gets really excited to see her. He hasn’t seen his mama in ages

None of the others have ever actually said anything about Chenford and that’s maybe a respectful ‘don’t wanna start rumours’ thing but you can tell by their faces when Lucy and Tim are bantering that they know They’re like ‘yep just a normal morning with Tim and Lucy flirting’.
