Ash leaves seem to be the pattern of 2022 I’ve a pair of silver rings and a pair of cufflinks headed out today and another pair of rings to get to work on. Last year it was fern, and oak before that. I find it kinda fascinating how it changes, also its a lot more interesting for me :) But ash is the best :) and I was ahead of the curve for my own wedding in 2015….the only possible claim I could have to being ahead of fashion since I usually look like a toddler dressed me….and sometimes a toddler has dressed me!

Well it got me! I did so well avoiding Covid up till now, but its got me eventually. Feeling pretty miserable although not like I need doctors miserable so no need to worry about me. But definitely thinking if this is how the mild variant hits me when I’m fully vaccinated then I’m really glad I avoided it so long and a lot less annoyed about the rolling lock downs! So far I’m the only one in the house with it, so fingers crossed it stays that way!
Anywho safe to say there will be some delays with orders this week, my shops are still open but I wont be at my bench for a few days at least.

This is me saying boo to black friday! As in previous years I wont be doing a black friday sale, I’m not a mass producer with a warehouse full of stock to get rid of I’m me Sarah, making your jewellery by hand as you order and spending the rest of my time with my lovely little girl :) So you might not get a 50% off sale but I then I don’t add 50% on for the rest of the year so win there! So I tried out my kiln enamelling the other day, I had a blast, looking through that little window wondering what you’re going to get is really fun…..what I got however was mostly a burnt mess these are the worst pieces, I got my tester colour pieces done and a few playful copper pendants that I’ll snap a picture of later, but after pretty much not touching it for the best part of a decade and being a beginner even back then, I think it’s safe to say lots more practice required!
