REQUEST HEADCANONS WITH ANY ELF/ANY IDEA

- This was not an easy decision for him to make. Every single day, every single hour, every single minute of your life could be plunged in danger if he took the privilege of taking your hand in marriage. You insisted you were alright with it, but Maedhros was understandable cautious. Anything that could harm the rare woman who had won his heart, was not to be underestimated.

- He began thinking of marriage several years before he actually proposed. These were dangerous times, and he would only blame himself if any harms was to come to you as a result of being his wife.

- Maedhros finally made the decision to wed you after a lengthy self struggle. He called on his brother, Curufin, to craft you a ring, which he duly did. Made of thin strands of pure mithril tied in an elaborate band, he had tiny crystals almost too small to see set around the edges, making the entire work glow in any light.

- The two of you went riding at midnight, alone without guards, just free together until Maedhros pulled you onto the edge of a ravine, where the two of you were silhouetted by nothing but the stars.

- He nearly didn’t do it. This was the rest of his life on the line, whether he’d spent the last remnants of his ill fated destiny alone, or with the love of his life at his side. Finally, the desire for the latter to come through was just too strong.

- Maedhros knelt before you, taking your hands in his, a startlingly vulnerable position. He never did anything like this, preferring to stand regal and stoic and impervious to all. Yet here he was, baring everything before you, something small and silver laying in his palm.

- You didn’t know what shined brighter. The stars, the ring, or your smile.

- Of course you accepted. This was your new life, his new life. That beautiful ring made its way onto your finger, and you made your own way into your husband to be’s arms. Maedhros held you tight that night, and the two of you spent hours talking under the starlight, reminiscing about the future and all it could bring.

- In a time of such war and darkness, news of something like a royal wedding was a cause for joyous celebration. It wasn’t just the entirety of the March of Maedhros that threw their arms up in happiness at the news. The fellow kingdoms of the Feanorians buzzed with excitement, and the kingdoms of the sons of Fingolfin and Finarfin bade warm wishes.

- Wedding gifts began to pile up almost immediately. There was a set of magnificent sapphires from Fingon, a mantle of rubies from Caranthir, and for some reason, a wolf pup from Celegorm, who couldn’t understand why you wouldn’t want an eight foot tall hound at your side.

- The entire kingdom was up in arms, preparing for the big day, and Maedhros was willing to give you nothing less than perfection. It wasn’t every day that a prince of the Noldor, and one of the most infamous of all the elves was wed. It came but once every thousands of years.

- But in your heart, you could hardly care less.

- You didn’t see the ring, you saw his face. And that face, that blood red hair and the weary but valiant grey eyes were all that mattered as you sunk into his embrace as a new bride to be.

@bookworm199.Sorry about the wait! I’ve been having a major case of writer’s block and schoolwork these days.
