While drawing the members’ faces on the mandarin oranges, “What kinda face did he usually do? Ueda’s hairstyle and appearance have sorta remained the same, right? Nakamaru, too, didn’t change much but I think he radiates a sorta fluffy and peaceful aura.”

To Ueda:
You seem to have become sharper in terms of your character, but I thought that’s a good sign. It would be nice if it’s a fulfilling year.

To Nakamaru:
With regards to the meet-up with the members from the same batch (i.e. Nakamaru, Masuda, Fujigaya and Tsukada), I’ve already given my schedule. I’m just waiting for Masuda to contact me.

Ueda

After he was done drawing the oranges, Ueda showed it to the staff and said, “You can easily tell who is who, right? (lol). Kame has this cool image whereas Nakamaru’s face looks like a cartoon character.” He def has a knack at identifying their features!

New year message
To Kamenashi:
I met Kame the other day, and he was still as cool as ever. How’s coming with your challenge at throwing a 120km/h fastball?

To Nakamaru:
I met him the other day at work, and we do go out for a meal some time too. Are you not gonna change your hairstyle?

Nakamaru

Nakamaru who’s good at illustration. “Both of their noses and mouths are rather unique, though.” and there, he began drawing the oranges. ‘This is Ueda.“ “This is Kame.” The staff took a close look and realized the slight differences in each orange that clearly illustrated each member. Indeed, he’s a professional!

To Kamenashi:
I received a message from Masuda that he wants to do a meet-up, so let’s find one day to go together!

To Ueda:
We just met recently, isn’t it? Well, Happy new year to you. Are you not gonna change your blond hair?

Ueda on the topic of his victory in this year’s marathon, and the members.

…Indeed, there were definitely some regrets regarding last year’s marathon where I didn’t manage to do quite well, and it was true that many thoughts were running through my mind at that moment. I thought I had to do something about it, and getting a second place just won’t do. If I got #1 in the marathon, it would somehow help enhance KAT-TUN’s image as well. I was happy (that I won). The people around me were happy for me, Nakamaru even cried about it because he knew I practised really hard for this marathon. When I met Kame the next day, he told me he watched the program and was amazed at the result. He said I was ‘Sugoi!’. But Kame complained that Nakamaru should have waited for me at the goal because the sight would have been more kakkoii. Lol. However, Nakamaru being Nakamaru, he knew that it would have been a hindrance if he really did that.
