Mai Mai Miracle (2009) had collected few of the best movie background artists of all time for this project. People from Hosoda’s works, veterans Morimoto Shigeru as well as Ghibli’s very own Yamamoto Nizo.

Background art was reused a lot, but still it was delightfully varied and locations were interesting. They captured really well the 50′s atmosphere especially in the bar-street part of the movie.Beautiful.
