i’m so fucked up about this. like he knows. he KNOWS how we took that line and he loves it. they spent years talking about their own troubled relationship with gender and now they’re being welcomed with open arms by crowd of thousands who’ve all had their own unique history with identity and being screamed their own lyrics back at them with such love and passion they can’t do anything but shake their arms in joy. they know exactly what that crowd is singing about and they love it
