Day 3 in Ovaro we’ll make a round trip first hitting two monsters:

TheZoncolan (10k 1200vm) will probably the heaviest climb we ever did, and don’t forget to bring light for the small tunnel at the end..

TheMonte Crostis (14k 1422vm) became famous after being skipped out of the Giro after heavy protest of the riders…ofcourse the decent is partly unpaved, and there but there put some fences to hold us from falling from the Crostis…

the fences are ready for our decent at the Monte Crostis

Day 6 brings a short stage ride from our Camp at Fiera di Primeiro to Villagio Nuovo with 3 medium climbs:

  • Passo di Gobbera           4k     230 vm
  • the Passo del Broncon  13k     884 vm
  • Cima di Campo              11k    530 vm

A stage of just 85k and 1640 vertical meters. Just to make your legs spin and prepare for the Queens ride of day 7.

From our campsite at Villagio Nuovo starts our last ride covering last ride we’ll ride a tour covering the West the South the East and the North face of the Monte Grappa…Since Jered Gruber stated that the Monte Grappa is his favourite climb i tried to get this monumental col in our route schedule. You can climb the Monte Grappa from 10 different sides (about 1530 vm)…Some climbs extremely steep (like the yellow one) and some are not recommended for descending (like the purple and yellow)

If we have legs the idea it to start at the westside with the climb called ‘Col Dei Prai from Cismon del Grappa (see below), decent the classical southside and find the Inn at Ponte San Lorenzo and have a sniff of

Italian cycling history…After the lunch (for those still in shape) we’ll pic the southside of Bocca di Forca and decent at one of the Northroutes…130 km / 3000 vertical meters…
