So I’m still not sure that what took place Monday was a date or what, but here we go anyway with the story.

Sunday night I was perusing ManHunt and I got a wink from this guy. I checked him profile, and he had some nice stats, and even though I don’t traditionally find myself attracted to black men (sorry, it’s a preference thing,) I decided to IM him and start up a conversation.

We ended up talking for hours. We talked about everything and anything. He unlocked his pics (face) and I unlocked mine (…not face!) and we just talked and talked. At the end of the night, we exchanged numbers and agreed to text the next day.

Monday, I finally got some pics of his piece (oh, girl!) and we talked some more. It turned out he ran up to school without taking any of his stuff (he goes to school an hour away) and he had to come back south… So I asked him to coffee.

After my class, he texted and asked me to a movie… So I met him at 9:15 to see The Nightmare on Elm Street (really good for a remake, by the way). I sorta held my hand so he could have taken it if he’d wanted to, but it wasn’t obvious. After, we went for coffee and we talked for a long time about… everything. Family, school, the whole gambit.

On the way to bring him back to his car, I told him his fly was open (I’d noticed in the coffeehouse) and he made no attempt to close it.

I’d said in the morning that he had me at “a disadvantage” because he’d “seen mine” but I hadn’t seen his, at which point he sent me his pics. So I asked if those pics were from the morning. He said they were, “and now I don’t have you at a disadvantage”. I told him I had gotten his pics and felt very… advantaged?

We sat at a red light for a long time and I kept wishing he’d lean over and kiss me. But he didn’t. And I didn’t want to make a move in case this wasn’t a date…

I dropped him off at his car and we sat side-by-side for over five minutes chatting at a red light that we realized was stuck. We agreed to text when we got home, and we ran the light together and made our separate ways home.

We agreed to go out again when we were both done with finals and writing tons of papers and whatnot, and we’ve been texting since… I’m just still wondering if this was a date or not, but I don’t want to ask him in case it wasn’t..? He paid for coffee though…

Monday night, I was supposed to hook-up with this guy whose basically been begging me to get together for a few weeks. Well, he never texted me to get together Monday… which was why I was surprised to wake up to two texts from him Tuesday morning asking me to come over.

After some chatting and rushing, I got it together and went to meet him… I found his place, a tiny half of a bungalow, and went in. I had a glass of water… then he said, quite possibly, the hottest thing ever (I have no idea why it drove me so wild): “Don’t be shy boy, take off your pants!”

And so that’s precisely what I did.
