(Most neurotic guy in the world voice) I like to chill and have fun

good morning to homosexuals, women with children, short insomniacs, teeny tiny bands, spiky lesbians, women internists, shiksa caterers, pretty boys, ex-ex-lovers, hypochondriacs, yiddish americans, and nervous wrecks

muppetmarv:

men will be like “i don’t have a lover anymore :(” my brother in christ you dumped him

so normally i’d listen to In Trousers to study, right? so i’m working on this project and after going through the whole soundtrack, i decide to put on the original cast recording of march of the falsettos + falsettoland, bcs y'know, fit in with the trilogy, plus it’d be a change cause i normally listen to the revival.

just finished the soundtrack. i realised my grave mistake abt a half hour ago but didn’t have the heart to turn it off. anyways, we are Sad. WHY DO I KEEP FORGETTING HOW MUCH THIS MUSICAL HURTS ME /lh

I’m so glad they changed “this was Jason’s first great idea” to “this was Jason’s brilliant idea”.

Like damn, it’s his bar mitzvah, Marvin ✋ no need to read him

NO BUT FR THOUGH, like, the kid is upset and it’s his special day, cut him some slack + give him a mf break i stg-

just re-listened to the 1990 version (i had only rlly listened to it properly like once or twice), and i’ve realised it’s “first-rate” not “first great”. also just checked the comments, turns out other people knew it was “first-rate” too, djsjcjdkf i’m a himbo

that’ll teach me to look up the lyrics in future djdkfjdkf weLp

literally how could u be mentally ill when falsettos (2016) said “stop! look around you. no one’s screaming at you. so you feel alright for about ten minutes. if you feel alright for ten minutes, feel alright for twenty minutes. feel alright for forty minutes. drop it and smile! why don’t you feel alright for the rest of your life?”
