Before Mariah and KBBQ had their falling out, Mariah had commissioned multiple armor pieces from him. He kept his word and provided these pieces for her, including parts of her Beekeeper, Road Hog mask, and her Saber chest piece. There is video evidence (from her IG) that she has had these pieces for months, most likely just laying around in her house without being taken care.

Recently Mariah wore her Saber to Katsucon, and people noticed that the chest piece was just not sitting right. The neck piece was jutting forward when it should have been laying flat.

image

Most people figured its because she either gave KBBQ wrong measurements, or she’s gained weight since the piece was made, since she ordered these around the time she got her first rounds of lipo.

A few days after Katsu, Mariah went on her IG story saying she was about to strip all the paint off of the chestpiece because it was already cracking.

image

“Hey guys! I’m going to start stripping……the paint off this armor because it’s cracking off everywhere already”

She made another post, throwing huge shade at KBBQ for using wood glue on the chest piece, which is what made it stiff and not very flexible. Clearly trying to blame the ill fit on it.

image

”WHY WOULD YOU USE WOODGLUE NO”
”I could see using woodglue for something like a prop”
”I throughly believe in using something flexible for your armor because you’re going to be moving in it”

Just an FYI, using wood glue in cosplay is actually a very popular technique, and many armor makers use it with no problem.

image

She continues to sand off the paint, and it takes her about a good 3-5 hours to do it.

image

She finally succeeds in destroying all the work KBBQ did on the piece.

Also please note that since it took her SO LONG to sand the paint off, the paint job probably was not as bad as she was leading on.

image

She tries to throw her knowledge around in armor making, despite the fact she has had every single one of her ~big builds~ 75% commissioned and the fact it was obvious she did not take care of the piece from the time she got it to the time she wore it.

Today Mariah went on a long rant, throwing KBBQ under the bus, even using his name, for using the wood glue on the armor and blames him for the reason the paint chipped off and why it was so stiff.

Just a reminder that Mariah has never made large armor pieces before. Ever.

So all of the work KBBQ put into the priming and painting is now gone. I know she paid for it and she could literally light it on fire and do whatever she wants with it, but the way she’s gone about announcing to the world that she was doing this as well as dragging KBBQ just comes off so petty.

Almost as if she’s stil butthurt that he realized what a shit stain she is.

Earlier today a cosplayer by the name of Cowbutt Crunchie posted on Twitter that while at Katsucon a well known female cosplayer had been disrespectful towards her while on a photoshoot. CBC later admitted that the woman was Momokun/ Mariah Mallad

Cowbutt Crunchies claims that while taking photos at Katsucon, Mariah was walking behind her and kicked a tail that was attached to her cosplay two times, while trying to walk behind her. CBC says she was posing against a wall and there was no reason for Mariah to walk behind her when she could have just walked in front.

First of all, sorry I’ve been MIA! My computer took a shit and I’ve been using a laptop and I hate laptops. This is going to be more short and sweet because the tea just keeps coming!

Many months ago Mariah mentioned doing a Red Riding Hood photoshoot theme to raise money for “charity.” She just recently shot and released some photos of the set. In her posts she says the dress she is wearing was inspired by an international designer named My Oppa and made by Castle Corsetry.

The dress is almost an exact replica.

Notice how she didn’t actually tag My Oppa, even though they have an IG/ Someone decided to email My Oppa asking if they knew about this and their response was no, they didn’t, and that they were very upset. They went and left a comment on Mariah’s page about it saying the design was stolen.

Mariah responds to people on Twitter (but never to My Oppa directly) and claims she did try to email My Oppa about buying the design but they never responded back, and that Castle Corsetry’s design was actually more expensive.

People then flooded to Castle Corsetry’s FB page leaving reviews about her stealing the design. Castle’s response was that Mariah had actually come to her FIRST before ever trying to contact My Oppa, and Castle told Mariah to try and go through My Oppa first. When Mariah got no response Castle went through with the commission and said My Oppa doesn’t own any of the design elements so therefore its no theft. she also claimed this sort of thing happens all the time in the fashion industry so therefore its ok.

She then tops it off by admitting that she did it simply because Mariah was paying her to do it and then attacking My Oppa for being unoriginal.

Castle continues to throw Mariah under the bus, repeating the fact she came to Castle FIRST before ever trying to communicate with My Oppa about buying the original design. And again, blaming My Oppa for not responding to Mariah’s email.

By the way, that specific piece has been “sold out” since around August, soo of course My Oppa didn’t respond to emails about it.

To finish up: Mariah delete’s My Oppa’s comment on her FB page and Castle Corsetry has removed her FB completely.

Well thats real awkward.

Stealing designs is fucking serious and NOT OK. It was shady from the beginning and the responses are even more shady.

There’s been some shady/ shitty things Mariah has said over the past few weeks which I feel weren’t relevant enough to make an individual post about, but still important enough to document. So think of these type of posts as a little bit of a hodge podge of shit Mariah Mallad does.

#1 - Cultural appropriation of African face paint?

During the month of November Mariah started a… thing… where she would post autumny photosets. One set was of a wood fairy. She posted some photos when she was shooting, and caused some people to wonder if her facepaint was cultural appropriation of African face paint.

People responded her telling her they felt, and she made a post on Facebook explaining she actually just ripped it off from another cosplay.

As well as giving a shit apology to someone who was upset by the face paint.

Just an FYI, if you apologize to someone for something you did, don’t say “sorry thats how you took it” with a frowny face. It comes off pretty fucking passive aggressive.

 #2 - Mariah Snaps at a Patron

After realizing her discord had been made public by leakers, Mariah promised to make a new one for her patrons. Its been about a month and paying patron still do not have a discord, despite it being a reward. So a patron posts on a public post asking about it, and Mariah disregards his question because he isn’t a patron. The patron actually WAS a paying patron, however stopped their payment for this month for various reasons.

Despite the patron going into a FULL EXPLANATION as to why they needed to unsub, Mariah still treats him like shit and throws it into their face that they aren’t a patron.

This is how she treats her fans. She gives zero fucks about you unless you’re throwing money her way. And if you aren’t, then she’ll be rude as all hell to you, and throw it in your face how you don’t.

#3 - Mariah Ghosts Blizzcon

While she was at Blizzcon, people noticed that Mariah never actually went into the convention center or did… anything with the con. She just stood outside every day and loitered around. Mariah has admitted to ghosting cons before, and everyone believed thats what she was doing with Blizzcon too. After saying how excited she is for NEXT year’s Blizzcon, a Twitter user noted that she never actually went into the con. Mariah’s response was that went and got her badge and that was it. Reason:  She was only there from 1pm-4pm for photoshoots and had no time.

There have been rumors flying around that she never bought a badge when they went on sale, and that she actually bought a 1 day pass from someone when she arrived at the con. But I’m not really sure if thats true. I don’t know why she would only spend 4 hours at a con just to stand outside and not even take some time to go inside, especially since she claims she’s such a huge OW fan.

Hope you guys dig this format, lemme kno.

A few months ago Mariah cosplayed as the Cow Girl from a hentai, she had stated multiple times where the cosplay was from and even done photos referencing the anime.

Then, just yesterday Mariah posted on IG a fanart someone did and claimed it was of her OC MooMoo. People called her out saying it wasn’t an OC and from the anime, but her response was that hers was a little different and inspired by the anime.

She also claims the biggest difference between the two is that her cosplay has horns, while the hentai does not.

However, that’s also not true since the girl also has horns in the hentai!

As proof that she blatantly cosplayed straight from the hentai, she admitted to it when she first released the set.

This is a blatant rip off, and the fact she’s trying to push it as “OC” is fucking embarrassing. She admitted multiple times it was from the hentai, did photos of her doing the exact same pose as the girl, and even had one of her fuckboys fly out and dress up as the MC from the hentai! And yet she wants to try and tell everyone its an OC?

About 2 months ago Mariah started multiple charity projects for various different causes. The first being a print set where the proceeds would go to hurricane relief.  The second being a charity stream for the victims of the Las Vegas shooting.

Tl;dr: she was very slow and very unprofessional setting all of these charity projects up. Two months has passed since her first stating the prints would go to charity and they’re still on preorder. A month has passed with her not continuing the stream to reach her goal.

Because of this people have been upset, and also because she kept giving different dates for when she’d continue the stream.

Finally, Mariah tweeted towards the end of October that she would try to stream a few more times and if she didn’t meet her goal of 2500 by the end of the month she’d donate the rest herself.

image

Despite her saying she’d just donate the rest if she didn’t reach the goal, three days later she tweeted that she won’t be able to stream because she has to finish a cosplay for Blizzcon, with no mention of donating the money.

image

People tweeted at her demanding she donate the money. It seemed as if Mariah kept changing the time for when she planned on actually going through with it. She changed her tune again, and said she’d donate it on November 2nd since thats apparently when she started the “campaign.”

image
image

After days of no news again, someone asked when she’d be donating the money and once again she changed it to when she got back from Blizzcon.

image

It takes about 5 minutes to donate money to a charity online, so I’m unsure as to why she felt the need to push it back for so long.

Finally after a weekend of loitering outside of Blizzcon, Mariah posted she donated the money.

image

Notice how the amount she raised has changed. First it was 1800, then 1600, and now its 1500 out of 2500. Also in my honest (totally not biased huehue) opinion, I think she waited so long because she was waiting for her Patreon money to come in at the start of the month. I have no doubt she spent what she raisedd and panicked when she realized she wouldn’t be able to donate the full 2500. This would explain why she waited weeks to actually do the donation.

That at least concludes the charity stream. For the prints however… thats still up in the air. As noted in a cap above the prints don’t actually ship out into mid to late November. Even though she has had the prints for over two months now.

In mid October Mariah tweeted that the reasoning behind the $15 charge of the charity prints is because of the costs it takes to make the prints and ship them out.

image

So if using the highest numbers she provided that means each print will be a donation of $5. So people have been waiting two months to simply pay for shipping and donate $5 to a fund. Not to mention about a month before, in September, she said she may just her own money to ship the prints out in a Patreon post.

image

Clearly she has decided it would cost her too much to do that out of pocket, even though that would mean MORE MONEY going to the relief fund.

I have said this in every post about this charity bullshit, but please. DON’T. FUCKING. DONATE. THROUGH. HER. It took her a MONTH to donate the streaming money, and all she had to do was put her card info into a website and pay it and chances are she spent all the money anyway. She’s also overcharging people because she doesn’t want to spend her own money on buying prints and shipping stuff out. If you want to donate $15 then donate $15 directly to the charity! Do not get scammed by her.
