LIVE

Paris Fashion Week was an opportunity to reconnect with my fashion fellows after almost 3 years without attending catwalks.

I am not planning to restart the fashion journalism as I used to in my London days however I keep an open eye to these early millenium trends as creativity is in everything. As such I have to expose myself to any type of work.

My fashion crush for this season is South African designer Jessica Janehttps://jessicajane.co.za/. The authentic Afropolitan (remember my demonstration in my 2017 book Afropolitanism and the black Blogospherehttps://booksofafrica.com/product/afropolitanism-and-the-black-blogosphere/

Her latest collection of cream cotton is not yet uploaded on her website but it looks like a dream on clothes.

Here I am thankful to fashion designers Mark Johnson (you know why), Virginie Ayissi (yellow jacket: https://www.instagram.com/virginie_ayissi/?hl=en) and Lorraine Koné for Kory Wade Studios (blue/red/white dress: https://korywade.fr/)

Lost and Edited.
