LIVE

I’m debating a Marc and Layla kid? Or does anyone ship either of these guys with other MCU peeps?

Ro runs her shop like it’s a sanctuary. The way she looks at it - those kids that come in are her babies. She’ll look out for each and every one of them.

Anyone can come and stay as long as they like. If they need space, there’s a designated quiet area upstairs for people to read, write, escape…whatever they need. And if they need it, Ro is there to help them find themselves again.

For most of them, she’s the one on speed dial. She won’t judge them and they know it.

Though, it is understood that Ro will hand their asses to them. There’s no lectures and she knows she isn’t capable of kicking the asses of a bunch of super kids.

Sometimes they don’t listen and that’s fine. She’ll still be there. There is nothing the kids can do that will make her stop loving them. And they always know it.

But for a woman that only has herself, a shop, and her kitchen? Those kids…

Well you can bet your ass that she won’t let anyone take them from her.

The Coffee Shop…

So Ronalda gets some help at the Coffee Shop in the form of Renae. The two are soulmate-friends, becoming two halves of a whole.

With late, crazy, somewhat drunken/stoned nights…

They trust each other with the secrets they wouldn’t share with anyone else, with the parts of them that no one needs to know.

They dance together…sing together…

They cry together, coming together at their lowest…

And highest.

‘Cause at the end of the day, the two know that when it comes to the world…It isn’t the people that claim to be heroes that make a difference.

Now they just have to get those kids coming into the coffee shop to listen!

Accidental friends become inseparable…

It’s a mutual understanding.

T’Chane makes an unexpected teammate in his days as a hero…

While they did become fast friends, their first encounter…well, the wrong things were assumed.

But once the air is cleared, the two come to rely on each other. Shang Chi is new to the hero world and takes it seriously, but still manages to remind T’Chane that this isn’t the only thing they’re good for.

Shang Chi encourages T’Chane to create a podcast discussing superheroes and their influence in society. The two run it together for the hell of it and Shang Chi notices a change in T’Chane’s confidence.

But T’Chane also helps Shang. He helps him grow past the abuse his father put him threw. He helps him face the responsibility that comes with the ten rings.

When they focus and have a plan…the two are capable of more than either could have imagined.

After his father’s death, N’Dazhne struggles to find his place as the next in line to the throne. Shuri doesn’t want it. Ororo believes in her son.

But there are a couple that understand his fear. They understand what he has to live up to. M’Baku and Erik (who has a chance at redemption in N’Dazhne’s timeline) offer advice, but refuse to “guide” him, wanting him to find his own path.

They show him his strengths, his weaknesses, and what the world looks like from Wakanda’s eyes and outside of its walls. They are the uncles he never had.

They push him to thrive and are proud of the man he becomes. And when people come to Wakanda, when they threaten the King, he is surrounded by nothing short of support.

And when the wars are over? When there’s peace? There’s love…memories…and a future. A life his father would be proud of.

Now he just has to find a way to get back home.
