In place of my normal political comment, here‘s part 1 in a 587 part series about things I learned about moving cross-country that I was not prepared for, and that’s after reading dozens of articles with titles like “Things to Prepare for When You Move Cross-Country.” For example, if your new house has a basement, and you’ve never lived anywhere with a basement before, you’ll need to buy a dehumidifier.
