“Omni Fine Initium Novum” (Every End Brings a New Beginning)

This is my shameless fan art of Matthew Roydon from A Discovery of Witches (played by Matthew Goode). Making portraits is meditative for me and his expressive face is a real pleasure to draw.

To make this, I used the Procreate app and alternated the charcoal and eraser tools to build layers, just like I would do with real charcoal on paper.
