hi hi hiiiiiiiiiii thank u to my darling @angelsfalling16 for tagging me 2day!!! i havent been writing like at all recently, which i hate but i did make a wip wednesday banner awhile ago so might as well use it!!!! anywayz heres the beginning of a stupid crack fic i cannot get out of my fucking head

Baz is a sane person.

Baz is not pathetic.

These are the sentiments he likes to tell himself while he’s making and acting upon the occasionally insane decision. It’s how he copes with his choices, or perhaps how he deludes himself, but regardless he repeats the words over and over in his mind, as he squeezes the remainder of Simon Snow’s toothpaste into the sink.

… It’s insane and it’s pathetic and it’s been happening for well over a year now. It’s practically routine, as much as he loathes to admit it.

Baz keeps, well, a decidedly watchful eye on his roommate’s Watford-issued tube of toothpaste. He waits until it’s nearly gone, and whenever Snow finds himself adequately preoccupied with his Chosen One duties, Baz squeezes whatever’s left of the minty paste straight down the drain. Then, he conveniently leaves his own expensive, plaque-resistant and teeth-whitening brand of toothpaste out on the counter, on the off-chance that Snow will take advantage upon the discovery of his own used up tube. He usually does, and Baz can always tell because he leaves small, teal globs of it on the inside of the cap. And for the next few days, whenever Baz brushes his teeth, he thinks about how this gives him the tiniest sliver of indirect, secondhand mouth to mouth contact.
