I haven’t shot in probably over a year and my fellow photographer friend, Senon, encouraged me to get out and shoot for 2021. We took these in the freezing rain and I was really outside of my comfort zone! This was more of his style of shooting, I’m not into anything grungy and prefer more colorful and vibrant locations. However, I’m thankful for the push to try something new and just be able to create for the hell of it without overthinking everything.

This weekend I had the privilege to spend some time in the amazing Berluti store on Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honore in Paris to get a one on one masterclass in how to take care of your shoes to make them last forever. It’s in French but I hope by watching every delicate move this guy is doing, you will still understand step by step how to take care of your shoes. As he said, get some routine to do this every Sunday and you will become a professional.
