YO YO, It’s Feburary 14th and you know what that means - that’s right, today is the official digital release date for the doujin @playerprophet and I have been working on today for the last few months! Buy it now while it’s still at pre-order price, because the price is going up on Monday!

THE LAST NINE YEARS is an 83 page Metal Gear Solid doujinshi exploring the evolution of Snake and Otacon’s partnership between the games. You can read a preview of the doujin at AO3.

PHYSICAL COPIES
We filled the print order this month! We’re getting a good deal from DoujinPress, but they’ve been unable to give us an exact date due to the nature of the discount we took. We anticipate that we’ll be mailing out the books sometime in mid-March, so expect them at your house in early April at the latest (we’ll keep you updated).

SHARING POLICY
While pre-orders did cover some of the printing fees, Dawn and I still paid a substantial amount of money out of pocket to send this thing to the printers, so while we don’t mind you sharing the PDF with a friend or two if they want to see it, we’d ask that you strongly encourage your friends to buy it if they liked it. In this vein, if there’s a panel or page that really strikes you, feel free to share it on tumblr/twitter/whatever! We do, after all, want as many people as possible to enjoy this. <3

So@playerprophet​ and @cephiedvariable​ combined their considerable powers to make a Otacon x Solid Snake doujin, The Last Nine Years, and I had the honor of doing some guest art!

I couldn’t decide what the hell I wanted to draw, so the obvious solution was to crank out a bunch of excessively happy stuff with the Egg Family and cram it into one big thing.

Dug through some poorly-named PSDs and pulled out some Metal Gear sketches from the end of 2015 that never went anywhere. Now to get back to work on the things that I actually NEED to finish.
