The Distortion as Michael and as Helen

A bit more TMA art polishing up some scribbles I had lying around for some time now. I like the Distortion, but then its charm is also its danger.
Also I wanted to share this other interpretation for Helen and some other TMA folks. Because this artist here is just so amazing it blows my mind and they have some fantastic art (tma among it), which you definitely should check out if you haven’t already. :)

[image description: The portrait of the Distortion in the appearance of Michael Shelley shows the head and shoulders of a thin tall, caucasian man in with a high forehead and mane of blond ringlets falling around his face. There are the beginnings of a blond sideburns on his cheeks and his grin is a bit on the manic side. A point of cyan light is visible in his pupils. He wears a grey turtle-neck pullover with a meandering pattern of shifting lines, which is repeated in the cyan rectangle of a background surrounding Michael’s figure.

Helen is visualized as an east-asian woman with shoulder long, black, straight hair, wearing a dark teal balzer over a white shirt. Her smile could be interpreted as friendly, but not necessarily well-meaning. She lifts both her hands, the fingers are painted unnaturally prolonged and are drawn and painted in a very rough manner. The same shifting pattern as in Michaels image is merging with her clothes and the light turquoise background.]

“I really don’t belong here, I know you’ve heard the tune before”

‘TMA but Jonathan sims has a harder time’ is so much of my sketch book, so I thought I would share some of my “Michael causing problems on purpose” series.
