Decided to treat myself today to some frozen coffee, comic books and horror novels
After grabbing a delicious frozen treat from @radcoffee I swung by @bnmontclairplace to pick up some new books with gift cards I got for Christmas: Stephen King’s “Joyland” and Grady Hendrix’s “My Best Friend’s Exorcism”.
Afterwards I stopped by @shopcalledquest on the way home and picked up two copies of Mike Mignola’s “Hellboy and the B.P.R.D: 1956” and Al Ewing’s “Immortal Hulk Vol. 2: The Green Door”.
Some much needed new reads to contrast the not-so-fun textbook readings I’m getting ready for as I start spring semester next week. Wish me luck

Odin concept art created by Mike Mignola @artofmm in the late ‘90s for a scrapped Thor animated series. (It was to be based directly on the Thor of Norse mythology, not the Marvel super hero.) The project will be covered in a bonus feature of the upcoming documentary “Mike Mignola: Drawing Monsters.”
